Gary A. Peterson has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years. For several years at the beginning of his career, Mr. Peterson worked for firms defending the interests of insurance companies and corporations in lawsuits often involving individual consumers who had been harmed in some way or another.

Disillusioned by a feeling that he was working for the “wrong side”, for the last 20 years Mr. Peterson has devoted his practice entirely to the representation of individuals who have been personally injured by the wrongful conduct of others. Mr. Peterson’s days as a young attorney working for insurance companies and corporations are in the past. However, the first-hand inside knowledge of the insurance defense industry he gained as a young lawyer continues to prove invaluable to Mr. Peterson as he takes on the very same industry today on behalf of his injured clients.

Over the last 20 years Gary A. Peterson has represented hundreds of individuals in a wide variety of personal injury matters, including all manners of accidents involving motor vehicles, premises liability, dog bites and medical malpractice. All told, either by way of pre-litigation settlement, mediation, arbitration or jury verdict, over the past two decades, Mr. Peterson has recovered millions for his injured clients.

Mr. Peterson attended San Diego State University, where he graduated with honors, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Peterson’s engineering background proves useful to him in his law practice whenever a particular case requires the retention of an accident reconstructionist and/or bio-mechanical engineer to analyze the forces imparted on an injured client during an accident.

Mr. Peterson received his law degree from Western State School of Law in Fullerton, from which he graduated in the top 15% of his class. Mr. Peterson is a member in good standing of the State Bar of California, and is licensed to practice before all courts in the state of California. Mr. Peterson also belongs to the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
